My name is Galit Capri. I was born and raised in Israel. After I served in the army as a commander who trained soldiers, I moved with my family to Las Vegas. There I began my teaching career in a Jewish school where I taught 2-3 year old children. I also taught the nursery class in Yeshivat Ohr Hachaim in Los Angeles for 3 years. In 2008, I joined the Gindi Maimonides family, and taught the nursery class for 4 years. Currently, I teach Hebrew to Kindergarten and Pre-1 students. My goal is for my students to develop a love of Ivrit, Israel, and its culture using all areas of developments; cognitive, social, emotional and physical. I use a lot of movement, song, dance, in thematic units, to gear to children lives and are developmentally appropriate. I believe that being always happy is a mitzvah and through this motto I conduct my teaching. I thank you for trusting me with your precious kids and I look forward to sharing our songs, dances, and learning that will take place in Pre 1A. |

Getting ready to go on a short trip on an empty stomach and a full bag just as the girl in the story did. We had so much fun.
